Default srsly call your mom's

Getting real for a moment:

My mother passed away on 12/1/13, totally unexpected and way too young. DON'T wait to talk to or email or visit your mother, if you think you're spending enough time doing those things you aren't. <---- period

Call/email/visit today, tomorrow, the weekend, don't put it off. If you have an argument or are not speaking to each other for some wonky reason just forget it and get in touch.

Please don't wait until its too late, you will never get another chance

Not looking for sympathy or other such things, just trying to drive home the message that death can and will come unexpectedly and you'll only be left with a bunch of things that don't equal your mother.

Recently, with sobering up from the drugs and being clean, my mother and I have become much closer. I had never realized the potential between us, and to think she could be taken at any moment just when we really start to connect is a scary thought.

I feel for your loss, and thank you for posting this as at least an eye opener for those that may not realize what they have/could have.
