Default Nilbogcare + FFA Raid Proposal

Alongside nilbogcare, whereby the guilds must halve their numbers at every successive raid of the same target, I propose a free-for-all solution with a few modifications.

The guild that does the most damage, does the most healing and takes the most damage gets the loot rights.

So if TMO kills Trakanon with 30 people, the next time they can only bring 15.

That means if there's another guild with 19 members, they should be able to out-power TMO.

If they still can't out-power them, the next time TMO should only be able to bring 7 members, and hopefully someone else would be able to take the kill away.

What do you think?

I think halving is a bit extreme. Another fraction would make this feasible, but only as a part of a system. All raid mobs being subject to this is also a bit extreme.

The problem with halving numbers is:
  1. Who is keeping track of the numbers?
  2. Is there a distinction between an engage force versus a buff force?
  3. This system seems to encourage excluding certain classes
  4. This system would result in a lot of rots for any successful guild.

Just for useless raid classes!

Rotation + limited raid size? 40 man instances?

Cap resists at 255, make dragon breaths/fears harder to resist. That should hurt some zerg. The rest of the problem with "zerg" is every player on the raid has basically what some of the best players during our raiding eras had.

As a former guide (live) I can only image what a massive and total pain in the ass this would be for the CS staff.

If it were me, I wouldn't just say no, but he'll no.

And as much distaste I have for the poopsockers and alt armies, TMO and other guilds have the right to bring as many people as they want to a fight. That is the essence of "classic" in that you muster whatever army you can/want to a fight.

Who'll no?

Aside from all that, NILBOG is the one who proposed the idea. Sheesh.
