Default Classic Progression Guild

I'd just like to gauge the interest of a classic progression guild for this server. Kunark and its equipment will be off limits until classic mobs (Inny, CT, Phinny, Naggy, Vox) are downed. Here are a few rules/ideas I am toying with.

- Casual raiding guild with mild RP.
- Fresh characters only. I'd like for everyone to be tagged before they are level 10.
- Discouraging twinking/PLing and of course only classic gear allowed.
- 50 level cap (possibly 52 for reasons I'll discuss later)
- One char per guild.

I just want to put this out there, this will be a casual guild and alot of the rules and stuff will be self regulated. I do not recommend joining if this is going to be your main for awhile. I am not even sure if there will be enough people interested to do this thing legit. Anyhow I am working on getting the guild created and get the rules set in stone.

If interested comments/suggestions/complaints/and trolling welcome.

I posted this in guild chat as well but realized that it would probably be better here. See you in game.

You gonna be stuck longer on classic then we currently are with Kunark with those classic mob requirements.

Well, they could easily be a Class R guild, and now that everyone plays nice...

I've actually thought about the current raiding scene and I have a few ideas that could make this work. If we have too we will ask to join raids on these targets. I think Naggy/Vox will be doable for sure but yeah we may need to ally ourselves with another guild in order to get in on some classic CT/Inny kills. This guild is for people looking to start fresh or experience classic everquest and progression one more time.

All in all it is to have fun and perhaps bring some people back into enjoying this game. I think itll be a nice break for some who have invested a lot of time into Kunark.

If you are interested we are going to need all classes but specifically bards, clerics, tanks, and enchanters. We are also going to need tradeskillers for that classic banded and jewelry.

Lastly current guild names being considered are <Classic>, if that is taken then possibly <Exodus>.

See ya under the newb lift!

My son and I and a few other people years ago on live sort of did this for a bit lol. Not a true guild per say but close. It was great for awhile. Wow this shits classic we would say. Well it got pretty old pretty quick having so so gear and dying a hell of a lot more, and not being able to hit a bull in the ass with the crappy weapons we had with no haste item, etc, etc.

We did it for like 3 months and that was the end of that. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] It was not fun anymore, just a lot of work. Like how many times has that poor Enchanter died this week?? Glad I have a FD Monk lol. I bet she wishes the Cleric was high enough for a 96% rez. Oh I forgot the Enchanter is always dead when C drops and we have a HELL of a long time before she gets Clarity I let alone II. Shit! [You must be logged in to view images. But I do like the idea I think. Well not sure. Well maybe. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
