Default GM Clarification Request: Zoning Out

Rogean/Sirken/Derubael,

As had been mentioned in a few other threads so far, could you possibly please add a yes/no to your anti-sock thread in the raid discussion?

If BDA, today, had zoned out of LZO or Evac'd to EJ when doing what they were doing, would they be permitted to kill Trak? What about a guild raiding fear and CT/Draco spawns, can they zone out of fear portal, like a reset giving them no advantage and then race for the mob? What about if a guild were clearing hate and Inny spawned, could they collectively "cap" out of Hate to WC and port back up as any other engaging guild would?

This seems reasonable, but I think your opinion would be great.

Thanks,
Me

I think the idea of using WC cap to port out of zone and then having people porting back to Feerrott to zone back in just seems ridiculous.

I could see something like all but 2 random people being forced to zone-in making a lot more sense for zones like Sebilis or being kicked out of zone for places like hate/fear. However, a guild actively porting to WC only to port/run back seems a little silly.

Cap out of Hate not from Fear. Porting up is half the race.

Zone out of Fear via temple.

I'm not suggesting going 10 zones over, I'm saying start from zone in like everyone else.

I was curious why so many high lvl guild groups keep appearing at the WC druid rings?

I thought maybe there was a cake and/or pie vendor there now?

Maybe OP's statement is the reason?

/shrug, a pie/cake vendor would be a lot more exciting.

Because of the Leatherfoot Raiders Skull cap. It's an Easy place for everyone to get to instantly.

back to OP

I think its just best not to be in the zone at all when these bosses are in window, its only 16 hours now....

so for BDA Jugs example, I am sure if they could do over, they would have not practiced their Trak 'firedrill' during his window if they were planning on attempting him

so I dont think you can simply say "yea Evacing to EJ makes it legit!" or

"had they zoned out and back in it would be ok"

either of those may be the case but the bottom line is that guilds need to not be 'raiding' in these zones during the 16 hour window raid targets pop in now...

If they have any intentions of engaging the target.

so with the 1-1-1 plan added with the Class R rotation it is going to be business as usual most of the time. Just know where you stand

Yeah, I'm looking for clarity from Rogean.

I think the worst zone is KC. It seems crazy I can't XP on a toon in LCY because VS is in window. I'm not raiding or with a raid force near the spawn point. As Rogean said in his ban post it was more than 6 people in close proximity. So it seems reasonable for individuals to be xping in the zone without hindering their guilds raid eligibility.
