![]() Hi All, two questions:
1. I've been camping bandits on my 17 necro for Bronze weapons and sashes (xp AND bronze weapons) and have built up around 400pp. I know prices vary, but I'm thinking about buying a couple of monk weapons (I plan on making my monk my main). Looking specifically at Knuckle Dusters and Canes of the Tranquil. I know that I probably don't have enough plat for both at the moment, but my question is as a monk am I better off buying 1 KD and 1 CoT at the same time or am I better off buying 2 KDs or 2 CoTs? Or are there other weapons I'm not considering that I should. 2. At level 17 on the Qeynos side of the continent is there a better place to farm plat on my necro? I don't mind farming a bit longer to buy the weapons that I want, but if I can do it faster I would love to. Thanks in advance for the advice!

![]() If you can find Brigands they are level 14-16 and should carry you to 20 or so. Go to NK next and farm wisps. I think there is a GLS turn-in at an NPC in Sro that will give you an elemental tome or research booklet worth 10p each.
Aside from that, loot can be pretty shitty until mid-twenties

![]() You could always just get Master Wu's Trance Sticks for 100pp each too. If you set on Knuckledusters, you can find them for 500pp per, and the CoT you can get for 100-150pp. All of these weapons seem to me to be about the same. Also pick up a Master Wu's Quivering Staff for 100-150pp to practice your 2hb. Eventually you probably will find that you do more damage with 2hb, especially if you get a Imbued Fighters Staff.

![]() I'd say get 2 trance sticks (someone will likely just give you one or two for free) then keep at the farming till you have 1k and buy a staff of battle.
Quivering will be better from 20-30 because of the lower delay, but SoB will last you to 50 when you could easily farm plat to buy an IFS/SoS/Ada Club.

![]() Trance stick and a KD in your offhand is the best way to go imo if you can afford it(dont know blue prices) Actually I am pretty un sure of what the newbie areas are like on blue atm at all, But an iksar monk I know can make really good money once they level up to 20-30 just using fists/clubs whatever they have until then, and soloing at the giant forts in surrounding cabilis zones.
You def dont want 2 knuckle dusters, If you can get a cane of tranquil over fists that will be better obviously. Trance stick in your main hand will give you a faster attack and eventually you will gain mainhand bonus damage as you level. a high dmg slower offhand is best.

![]() No reason to use anything but a super cheap Wu's Quivering Staff until 55+.
Get a single Trance to raise 1hb maybe. All for under 300pp

![]() Why trance stick over say a CoT? Is that because faster + damage bonus is better than slower but better ratio? A la moss covered twig? I know the proc doesn't go off till 30 or 35.

![]() Trance just to raise skill easily for cheap. Your biggest bang for the buck will be a Wu's Quivering Staff which you should use until you upgrade to IFS, SoS, etc tier which seem to run about 7k.
Anything in between will be several K for very minimal upgrade/sidegrade.
