Default Has the range on bows been nerfed?

Use to pull w/ Runed Bow from long ways out, now got to get in casting range. Anyone else seeing this?[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

This is like asking if your computer is plugged in when troubleshooting.

But seriously, what is the range on the arrows?

Considering you are talking about the Runed Oak Bow. It has a range of 125. I use 50 range arrows with my RainCaller so thats 250 range and i can be out of casting range. Guess it all depends on what spellsare being casted. I haven't really noticed anything changing. You must of use arrows with alot of range back in the day. Just make some flight arrows and you should be able to get out of range.

I was playing my Rangerling last night. He has a Runed Oak Bow as well and I also noticed that I had to be in what was essentially casting range (like 35-40 range) when it should have been 125+ range. This was on level ground.

This is was my problem as well a week or so back. etc. A trivial crafted arrow definitely has more range on it. 100 as opposed to your basic arrow of 25. Seemed to fix things for me.

So I looked into a couple spells. The spell the mobs are casting is going to effect if you are out of range or not. Looks like most spells have a range of 200. Like the stringing swarm line is a 250 range. Guys are going to need over a 75 range arrow to be out of casting range for most spells with that bow.

Fletch up some 150 range class 2 wood point arrows...extremely cheap and handy. I use them to pull on my rogue, throwing daggers are a slap in the face [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
