Default level distribution?

So i'm anxiously awaiting my copy of EQ Titanium in the mail... and I was curious about the distribution of players so far.

Are the majority of players maxxed out at 50? How likely is it to find groups or should I count on soloing most of the time?

Im almost 33 now, I started in July. I've grouped 90% of the time I've been leveling.

It's only been late at night when not many ppl are on that I've been pigeon holed into having to solo.

Some of it is not being lazy, and putting a group together yourself...instead of sitting in ec tunnel with your LFG tag up waiting for someone to send you a tell.

There are a plethora of ppl in all level ranges imo.

This is true. You will find though that there are more and more twinks everyday. In my opinion/observations, the real server population isn't growing that fast but the number of new characters is rising (many melee twinks in preparation for kunark)

There's plenty at the lower levels, no doubt - I've had a number of groups.

Was in SK the other day 30ish people in the zone, mostly mid 20's, etc.

I just recently moved getting my net hooked up tomorrow! I will be starting up a new fresh monk as I've been waiting to find something like this 'classic' play myself! Maybe we can meet up sometime and level together or somethin' [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Haha, thanks, I remember vividly.... I created my monk in sept of 1999. Running around blind, dying all the time, getting pissed off and breaking 4 keyboards.... I definately look forward to getting ganked by rats & orc pawns! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Sid,

Welcome back!

Im pretty new myself (started a few days back), and its safe to say that your not going to have a hard time finding folks to hunt with. That too was my biggest fear: that I would come back and find noobie zones deserted and entire expanses with only 1 or 2 players in them while everyone farmed raid zones. Instead, I came back to a perfectly populated world, with tons of friendly faces. You will see a lot of twinked players, but most of these guys are still friendly (despite their single-minded focus on leveling!).

All this to say that P99 has done a great job so far at recapturing some of the magic from those early days of EQ.

Yet another shout out to the whole P99 team - great job guys, and thanks for taking the steps to make this happen.

Send anleus or blame a tell in game when you get up and running. I've got an extra Glowing Stone Band that you're welcome to. That should solve the blind issue.
