![]() I have recently seen the term jousting come up in SK and paladin threads, can someone explain what it is and how to do it?

![]() My understanding is you run in and hit a mob and then back off from it until your melee timer is ready to swing again, then you run back in and hit it again. Doesn't really work unless it's rooted/snared or another player/pet is fighting it.

![]() Have a really slow 2h weapon, run through the target flipping autoattack on and off, wait until delay is done, repeat.
Just having jboots and strafing through it should do the trick rly, snare isnt that necessary.

![]() 1. Root Target.
2. Run into melee zone, auto attack with hard hitting 2 hander 3. Run out of melee zone, turn off auto attack 4. repeat steps 2-3.

![]() Note that you can joust just fine in outdoor zones if you know how to strafe-run effectively and use mouselook.
As a rule jousting tends to be slow and tedious. Aside from PvP, most folks use it as an option of last resort. If I can't get a group, given a choice between jousting or logging off on a Paladin, I'd rather log off. Danth

![]() You definitely want to master Joust so you can beat the Demi-Lich and get the copper key. Otherwise you'll never get to raid Castle Anorak.
