NPC Spawn Issue: Twisted Ajrah Treant

Passing through EK today I saw this mob http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.html?id=15653 which I know isn't classic, but I wasn't sure how particular you guys were being about stuff like this

Sure he is, he was just incredibly rare. He's for a quest in Kerra Ridge for a 2 str 2 wis tunic.

If you read through all of the comments, no one knew how to get the Arjah Leaf until 2004, when the first treant comment shows up.

The treant was added in 2004, but I guess it was supposed to be in from the start.

I wonder if he drops those killer boots.

Lol, there's a whole range of Defiant armor (and weapons) that drop from any mob in the game. They were added a couple years back as a "quick fix" so that you could gain items with relevant power to the insane high-end gear.
