![]() I have spent many nights fighting with many of you but in the end only one thing is true, you are desperate for xp and nothing else matters. No matter how boring, or how pointless, the camp may be... you are happy to sit there if you gain xp.
I have spent my nights searching for people who would like a little excitement in their lives, and so far I have found none. Everyone wants to sit in the one spot killing the same mobs over and over, and for what?? Just so you can reach level 50?? That is a pathetic goal when the game provides so much excitement if you are only will to risk it. Very rarely I have managed to temp a few a you away from your safe camps but what do I find??... one death and you disappear no longer online... that is nothing but cowardice. Are you all so self obsessed that lvl 50 is all that you care about?

![]() Server Chat != Rants and Flames
Also, the game is all about perving out on the she-males and making them reroll male characters to stop the abuse.

![]() And, if that's what they're into, how is it any less valid than your style of play. I'm not saying I disagree on all fronts. I prefer not to plop down and grind all the time myself. On live, I was one of the first in my own little community to do a lot of things. People told me I was nuts over and over for solo'ing my paladin in certain places (Kedge runs for a ground spawn make your heart beat faster, LOL). Even so, I don't begrudge the grinders. If racing to 50 rocks their world, so be it. I'll still be in my 20's doing my thing and they don't bother me in the least.
...or was this post simply to incite a flame war?

![]() This is not a rant or a flame, it is a serious comment on how people insist on playing this game. More XP does not mean more fun, but perhaps I didn't make that clear.

![]() My post was just intended to point out that there is more to this game than XP, much more, in fact if gaining XP is all that you care about then you have missed the best parts of EverQuest.

![]() Too bad you address your bitter comments to ALL of us. As others have pointed out, not all players play for the same reasons or find joy from the same things. I've grouped with someone who got furious because he missed out on one kill in Guk (the group broke up and it was a challenge to reassemble it while fighting). Most people I group with are not like this. I am certainly not like this. Deaths happen, XP loss happens.. It's all part of the game and it doesn't bother me. I'm not in a race for 50 by any measure. I'm too busy enjoying the zones which I blew past on live (when I was much more focused on hitting 50 etc).
I'd suggest in the future that you not be so broad and overreaching when making such bitter statements. It only generates bad feelings and makes you seem immature (which I am sure you're not)

![]() I'm not all that into xp'ing anymore, and my highest level character is 20. But others are all about getting to max level asap, and more power to them.
Do what you enjoy, imo. The different play styles is one thing that makes EQ great.

![]() I'm all for exploring the lesser used dungeons on the server, it's just that I rarely have much time to play. I usually have to just go where the people are.
