Default DOH!!! moments on P1999

Here’s a recent one for me:

I was in a group going deep into Splitpaw and we decided to go after The Ishva Mal since we were close and it was up. So we’re dungeon crawling on through, probably had no business being that deep in the zone at our level but we were doing it (and pretty damn well if you ask me).

So we were working on pulling the last guards out of the room when our backup healer (a druid who said he had to get going for like fifteen minutes) gated out. I can’t blame him, it did take a little longer than we expected. So we have a monk, tank, wizzy, myself and a healer left. We manage to single the two guards and buff up to rush Ishva’s room before repops. Tank rushes in followed by myself with Ishva’s pet targeted ready for tash/mez , followed by the rest.

By the time mez landed on the skele the tank was dead, and the monk was right behind him. In a panic I tash The Ishva Mal and to my surprise the mez landed!!! Then I realize that half my group is dead and the other half is gating and I notice….

“Shit! Gate's not memmed!!!”
So I sit, mem it, stand back up.
Refresh mez on the skele while waiting for Gate finally get to cast it and…... die from poison damage no less than 1 second before the cast was finished.

When will I learn that mem-ing Gate is NOT a waste of a spell slot? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Anyone else have a good one to share?
