Default NPC Charm

seems to be landing on insane amounts of MR far too often, most notably the spell Allure cast by mobs in plane of fear/hate

don't remember this happening at all a few patches ago

This is vague.

Are you trying to say that level 60 enchanters are sticking Allure on level 46-50 mobs too often?

If they are charming spite golems or ashenbone drakes I agree... Everything else isn't that magic resistant in Fear/Hate, and with the level differential, tash/sini charms stick as they should.

i'm saying that my character is being charmed by NPCs in plane of fear/hate almost every single cast with 200+ MR at level 60 when this never happened prior to the past month or two

Ah okay check.

NPC's specifically the forsaken revenants, shouldn't even cast charm in PoHate as shown by that other bug thread. Worry wraiths I dunno.

I think its mostly just a problem with our resist system here. Which is a bit larger than charm.

It's because before the rev's wouldnt try and charm because they had pets. last Patch made enchanter npc's able to charm while still having a pet.

Quote:
Forsaken Revenants - Male ones are magicians and drop Apothic armor (magician), females ones are enchanters and drop Insidious armor (enchanters). Female revenants don't charm.
Quote:
Forsaken Revanant, Female - undead Enchanter - They look like female vampires and have high magic resistance, but they do not cast charm.
Seems pretty reliable due to the detail of this guide, so hopefully it gets fixed

Npc charm is getting some change. So speak up with current issues.

Does NPC charm obey level restrictions on PC's? Should it? That would make everything but dragon charm resist everyone over 58 even if they cast dictate. I have never been charmed by Tolapumj but being 60 he should cast dictate which should obey the charm rules.

NPC charms do not follow level cap rules. That's classic infact pretty sure it's like that on live still
