Default game suggestions halp!

Looking for some suggestions for a game to pickup for either PC or PS3 that will pull me in and not let go till its finished, kinda like secks [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Just itching to play a game with a great story, some examples of ones that I couldn't put down:
Mass Effect 1/2
Deus Ex: HR (ending was meh)
Dragonage Origins
KOTOR
SWTOR (Imperial Operative storyline)
Last of Us

any thoughts? The Witcher 2 seems to be on steam sale or will be again before its over, I've heard that has a killer story. Other thoughts might be grabbing FFX/X-2 HD for ps3, haven't played a jrpg since ff7 though...

before its mentioned, no interest in Skyrim and I have no clue why. Just cant get into the style/gameplay, couldn't with Morrowind either.

You can try Titanfall free for 48 hours. Or at least you could this weekend.

Story I don't know since I tend to avoid story-driven games, but I'm really liking Mount & Blade: Warband.

Try the Final Fantasy VI: The Eternal Crystals mod, it's like a completely new game, with it's own chars, items, and even world maps!

I didn't care for any earlier installments but this one I played until i beat it and found everything! Last time i went all out on a game it was Final Fantasy 7 getting max lvl and killing all the weapons and such.

Gay ass game. Same shit that you could already play.

As to the OP, I would definitely pick up The Witcher 2, I am playing it now as we speak. 9.2/10 for me, the game is awesome.

Witcher was just on sale for like $5.

Like everyone else said, The Witcher 2 is probably gonna be your best bet.

If you're looking for a new game coming out you might want to keep your eye on Divinity: Original Sin and pick it up when it releases. You can purchase it now during early access but I've been playing it through this phase and it's shaping up to be the next Baldur's Gate for me. Definitely worth it to wait for this one to be in a state where the developers want it to be for release.

Demon/Dark Souls are also a couple safe bets.
