Did a search and found a lot of garbled information about the possible problems, but thought I would ask if there is a more general solution available.
When trying to start Everquest I get the error "No 3d devices found". dxdiag says everything is okay, and my card is listed in device manager as functioning properly. Sometimes i can reboot and this problem is resolved. I'm currently trying an uninstall/reinstall to see if the resolves the problem. Any solutions? Reinstall did nothing, still receiving error. WinEQ2 remedied the problem, although I'm dubious to pay for it.... | ||

I downloaded it from their site and never had to pay.

There are some issues with it, including the inability to run fullscreen, but its a work around, not a fix...

Have you tried installing Directx9.0c?
