lets say your main has been 50 for awhile, and you are starting up a twink mage. you have 500,000pp in the bank.

do you go wait for a torch to drop for 6-8 hours, or 1 hour, or 15 mins, or whatever random time it takes for it to drop?

or would you pay 500pp to just have the torch?

can't afford it, or think its a rip off? go camp it.

myself...if i could have afforded what people were charging when i was camping the torch...i would have just bought one.

even at lvl 30 you can make 500pp within an hour WHILE EXPing... Just go kill guards, simple as that.

Actually, I was there with my buddy for 4-5 hours killing gators deep into CT. Had 3 shovels drop (2 rotted), nothing else. I've seen people paying 1k for this, which is obviously silly, but it does range wildly in price.

6-8 hours is 3-4k plat farm for mages, easy. Could be a lot more.
