Raptors in TD, they move too fast! is this accurate?

Hi folks, i went to raptors isle with my wizard today and i found out they are waaaay too fast for Jboots speed. making it pretty much impossible to quad there.

I was wondering if this is their actual speed or if this is broken, cuz i remember on live to quad there a lot with just Jboots speed and it wasnt hard at all to overrun then and AoE snare em.

Anyways, just wondering...
