Crag spiders in EK
Are the crag spiders in EK considered a camp? I ask because I was just fighting them and had some anon caster, but red to me, show up pull every last one and then say "it's not a camp too bad."
They all spawn in a tight area and it sure seems like it's as much of a camp as orc highway or crocs in oasis. Just wondering if I can expect it to be stolen regularly or if this guy was just a dick? | ||

Oh good another one showed up. Guess this spot just attracts assholes. I wanted to do these for exp plus silk for tailoring but if this is going to be common place it's not worth it.
Where are some good places to get silk? Doesn't have to be this level I can wait till higher I just don't really know any silk camps besides these. | ||

So he tells you its not capable, and then he proceeds to camp it? Great logic right there. Next time just grab the ones you can and take screenshots so you can submit a petition. The more people do this without getting petitioned the more prevalent it will become.

It wasn't a necro near as I could tell. One was a 22 wizard, ulyssandra, at least she could get exp there but still there's only 4 spawns by the canyon. I think the other was a wizard too, he was anon and conned red, Belgrath. It's not so much they were camping it per se. It's that they were pulling everything so it was impossible to get anything. Being a chanted I need 2 mobs minimum and at best I could hope for was seeing one up on a spawn before one those two pulled it.
Both were using the same excuse "well it's not a real camp they're roamers." Considering they spawn in a very tight area, there arn't many, and don't move far from said area it's hard to believe anything in the game would be considered a camp under that logic. Perhaps it's not strictly considered a camp under the gm rules but it's still quite a dick move to pull. I just gave up and switched to an alt, I'll probably just try to get it for a an hour or so before work everyday until I level beyond the spiders. | ||

Crag Spiders are blue at 22. The poor wizard was soloing low blues because high blues might break root and that equals death with no pet to hide behind or a snare to help get away.
If I see any mob roaming in an outdoor zone it is free game. Things are First Come First Serve as far as I know. Every roamer in an outdoor zone spawns somewhere. It sucks when high level people are so bad they have to farm low level camps for money. And usually if I am going to farm low level trade skill components like spiderling silk or whatever, if it is camped by a lower level character I just offer to buy what I need. If they show up to XP while I'm farming I'll offer some buffs and either hang and buy whatever they get, or buff and come back later. Some people just have poor manners, and the rest of us have to live with it. Don't worry, they are probably miserable people living miserable lives [You must be logged in to view images.
