Hi, I played EQ back in the day up to SoL on Nameless server.
I started a High Elf Paladin, but also tempted to do Human Warrior.

Just wonder if which one is easily to get in exp group/raid at end game?
Because from my memory Warrior is always more prefer than Paladin...(played both PAL/WAR and MONK back in EQlive)

Warrior probably preferred Raven but don't let "what is required" sway you away from what you enjoy playing.

Taking my guild on blue as an example, we've got probably 8 warriors that raid (as well as some SKs/paladins)...and depending how many sign up they get rotated for tanking through the evening.

From an "ecnonomy" perspective, it's quite cheap to gear up a paladin in EC as they aren't as popular as most classes.

Paladins are better tanks in EXP groups because they can actually hold aggro. Warriors always have trouble holding aggro, from 1 to 60, and if it's your first character than it'll be even harder since you'll have a hard time getting good aggro weapons (paladins are not nearly as gear-dependent; they can hold aggro naked). On the other hand, warriors are by far the preferred tank in raids, because they get disciplines which let them avoid taking damage for a short amount of time once every half hour or so (depends on the discipline).

Paladins are more fun to play IMO because they can do more than just melee attack, kick, bash, and taunt (on account of having spells). On the other hand, warriors are in some ways better suited for taking on pulling duty in an EXP group without a real puller because they don't need to worry about meditating between fights (to be fair, paladins don't need to meditate that often, generally speaking).

Whatever you play, you'll be able to group and raid.
