Default R.I.P. LucasArts

Some of my favorite games of all time came from this dev house.

Sad to see them abused by Disney, but I guess I expected this.

Let's hope they are doing this to shut down some of the idiotic tangents conceived in the Mania of Lucas in his later years, with an eye on traditionalism and bringing back the old school.

I just want another X-wing game. I wasted like half my childhood on those games. It was awesome.

X-Wing and Tie Fighter were both extremely superior games when compared to X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter.

Crushing the Rebels in Tie-Fighter was one of the best things that has ever happened in gaming. Seems I should have joined TMO with opinions like that!

Never really played many Lucasarts games, simply because most of their games were Star Wars-related. Im not a big Star Wars fan personally, but i think of old early 90 PC games when i think of them, during that time i was all about I.D software (Doom, Wolfenstein 3D) and Sierra. (Kings Quest, Adventure Games)

One good game that came from Lucasarts was called "Outlaws" it was a first person western shooter with cartoon-ish graphics. I played it not too long ago, its not a bad game, was alot better back in its day though.
