Game is Freezing my entire PC

Hello!

I've been having a lot of crashing issues lately with EQ1999. There are times where I'm playing and suddenly my entire PC locks up to the point where I either have to hold the power button down or shut off the power in order to reset it. This happens usually without any foreshadowing performance issues and after any random interval in time.

I'm able to run all of my other games (Star Citizen's Arena Commander, Wildstar, SWTOR) perfectly fine, but EQ1999 is what is giving me these crashes.


I'm running in Windows 7 (Admin), and I've tried with both all 4 CPU's and with the 'use only 1 cpu' option.

I'm using an Intel i5-3750 CPU 3.4Ghz, using 16Gb RAM and I have a Radeon R9 280x.
