I'll write a different one and post the source code if it'll keep people from running a mysterious .exe whose source code is blatantly not available even though the functionality is so simple there's no reason not to share it. I'll post mine + source code in an hour or two

Here's my version complete with source. It doesn't replace the game EXE or anything, you just put it directly into your EQ folder and double click it once. It'll merge all your friends then quit out totally without touching anything.

I'm not trying to be offensive, but the point of replacing the exe is so you don't have to re-run it every time you add a friend on a character. Also, yours does not work on red or other eqemu servers.

Yeah I can't be the only person who specifically does NOT want it to replace my regular startup routine though, or even attempt to, so I made that one.

I'm not gonna use it either way since I don't really see the need for it, but I wanted people to have the option to just merge their friends without screwing with the startup process. Plus yours was closed-source when I wrote mine and that's a huge nono imo. Doesn't really matter to me what people use since it took me all of a half hour to write [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
