Default New SK

Hello all, I started a new SK named Reprehensible. I just hit level 3 last night, I am wondering where would be a better place to bind / experience at. I am having a hell of a time killing in The Feerott. Hahah I think I have been wussified by the modern mmorpg's since it seems like leveling is a mofo! Thanks again for all the great efforts of the Project 1999 team, I love it!

I made the run to east commonlands on my shaman around level 5. Got a bind in Neriak and then worked on the bears and such in Nektulos to get high quality bear hides to sell at the tunnel to get some armor. Not sure if this is the best way, but the run was not bad at all with the wiki maps, just watch out for the giants in the desert.

Free port or gfay are my guesses.
Not necessarily easier, but higher possibility of grouping

I've got a 14 human SK, Naughtius. I am currently killing gnolls in Highpass and they drop large size ringmail. If you need any I'll give you what ive got.

Feerott was always hardcore I thought. Started a warrior there once back on live pre-Kunark and logged out at level 2 after getting lost [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

If you stay local, run to Innothule and stick around outside the city entrance... before working your way to the Upper Guk zoneline (and beyond). There's enough mobs to sustain you there. Head in when you've got 6-7(?) or move around towards South Ro and kill the croc spawns on that corner.

Not the best area, but if you want to move to EC/Nektulos then definitely get a sow - crossing South Ro/Oasis isn't easy if you're doing it for the first time.

Stay in feerrott for now. If you leave oggok and follow the zone wall to your left, you'll find a lizard man camp after a way right down the hill. About 5 lizards roam in that area, and there are about 5 more static spawns at that camp. Kill em and save all the lizard meat you find. You can turn in the lizard meat at the oggok sk guild for XP and a rusty 2h sword per turn in. Decent XP and 2+ gold per sword you sell. At lvl 5-7 go to innothule and start killing stuff right inside/outside guk. You can get to 12-14 there solo pretty easily, at which point you should look for a party there or in oasis.

Also there is a vendor right next to this camp, very convenient to sell weapons to so you don't need to run back to oggok.

Rolled an Ogre Sham, got sick of Ferrot by level 4, ran to EFP. The run wasn't that bad using a map and hugging the zone walls.

This. Use Uguk zone as escape path. Plenty of frogs to kill in swamp just outside
UGuk zone in, including the two little froggie guards. Get a couple levels there, then
move inside UGuk and pull to zone-in or get a group going there.

You just need to focus on mobs that are level 2 or higher. Because 1 is such a wonderful number, you need to kill 4x the number of L1 mobs than L2 mobs so something like 504 vs 126 as a sk at L3 (not sure of Ogre racial penalty offhand). Subsequent levels the disparity shrinks considerably. In this regard L3 is really kind of the first hell level ^^ due to the lack of level 2 mobs in newby areas ^^
