An Everquest Survey
Hey pals,
Below is a link to a survey I've made. Its purpose is to gather data to determine what p99's overall playerbase generally enjoys doing when actually playing the game. It's comprised of 9 mandatory questions with 4 randomized answers. I tried to make the answers as non leading as possible. If you would take a minute to fill it out I would greatly appreciate it. Some of these questions are pretty biased and do not offer an "Other" option. Number 4 seemed like eh not a very extensive question, and then number 5 was like eh this isn't really a serious survey.

Some of the answers are stupid... It felt like you were going in a good direction at first with very spread out questions. Then as I got further in the survey it was easy to see it was mainly about top end guilds on the server...

I think this is a cool idea, but i didn't see many answers that fit my play style. I could just be weird tho =) I didn't submit as they wouldn't really be true.

I tried to keep it as general as possible. Survey writing is extremely in depth, making none leading answers isn't the easiest thing. Take any buzzfeed survey about which wizard you are for example.
It's not aimed at end game raiders of either server but more so a series of questions to figure out what activities and behaviors people playing tend to have.

Terrible survey bud. For one, you included absolutely no Roleplay related answers. At the least you could have done an OTHER with a BLANK space for people to input ansers.
For example, when you asked "What do you do in your free time in game," I had to choose kill seb bugs or seafuries, even though I literally never kill seb bugs and only kill seafuries once a month. This is just the closest answer to what I would say, which is "adventuring for plat." But really?? If I had my whim? It would be to roleplay with clever people. Another example: for the question (and I'm paraphrasing here) "Why do you farm pp?" I had to choose "to buy my next spells," because you didn't offer an option for "saving up for gear." When I am saving 350k to buy an efreeti belt, and the closest answer choice is "saving up for spells," something is fucking wrong. I appreciate the thought of doing a survey here, but this quiz is just very poorly constructed. So poorly constructed, in fact, that I would say the Buzzfeed wizard quizzes are better than this, which is something I never thought I would say in my life. | ||
