lesser shielding

Hello, I am trying to buy the level 8 spell "Lesser Shielding" for my human necro in Freeport.

I can't find it listed in the underground tunnels where I bought my other spells.
On http://wiki.project1999.com/Lesser_Shielding its listed as being sold by "Xinari Anara"
in the caster guild in FP but she won't sell it to me because im a necromancer.

The other zones listed where I can buy it are too far away.
Do I have to travel far or get someone to buy it for me far away or am I missing something?

The sewers in EFP can be a little underserved sometimes. I think this is one of those times. Either you need to take a trip or get someone to buy it for you. It shouldn't be hard to find someone who would be willing.

Did you try the caster's guild in Neriak? I wouldn't suggest the necro guild unless you're an Innorruuk worshiper, but the caster's guild might be more amenable to visitors.

The Shielding Line along with a few others is reserved by the Casters Guild, the goodie goodies. You either need to go to Neriak where they are evil, or get someone to buy it for you. Unless you're an Iksar, in which case you can just buy it in Cabilis.

You could try doing a /who in West Freeport and seeing if you can find someone willing to go and pick one up for you. I'll often agree to help out newbies who need a corpse-drag or some spells / food / drink / bandages from an unhelpful vendor.

Try being a non-DE enchanter some day; they start putting some of your spells in Neriak Third Gate (the most xenophobic area in the city) from level 8, but don't give you a DE illusion until 12.

There's probably a market for hard-to-acquire spells in EC. That and fire-beetle eyes in Kelethin...
