Default Suggestions on leveling for a 35 Rogue

Hey all,

I've been having a hell of a time finding groups, as my playtime is sometimes only an hour or two. I've been camped out in MM mostly, but after hitting 35 I'm finding I can't get in to groups very easily.

Earlier today I ran over to frontier mountains as I saw 12+ people all around my level, but no one seemed to need a Rogue.

Does anyone have a suggestion on where I should go and just plant myself until I can do CoM at 40ish?

Thanks

Organize your own groups in MM and hit up the yard or tower if GY + CE are camped.

Lguk isnt bad either. But mostly have to form your own groups. You can handle ass/sup at that lvl and maybe even exe/sage if you have a strong group. There are usually higher levels camping shit so if you pass on loot you can get help with splits etc. Its boring for them anyways.

I soloed Aviak Harriers and Avocets in SK from 35-39 here and there when I couldn't get grp. They have relatively low hp. Can usually find a couple people killing near the aviak town or gnolls near splitpaw entrance. Could shoot a tell to any early or mid 30s people out in SK as it would be a long travel for you. May just want to stick with MM and get on list for CE and CY.

Hang in there. Having been a rogue in eq classic as well as here I know how difficult it is being the worst soloing class. At least other classes can solo a little here and there while the seek a group.

I am only 20 so far. If the game is top level heavy am I to assume groups should be more available post 50? That's pretty much was has me going still, despite how much love I have for the class.

This is more like a meta-suggestion: have you considered joining a guild?

After leaving HHK, I remember mid 30s to early 40s being the worst time of my rogue's grouping life. There was just never anything definitive to go to besides the clustercluck in MM.

I ended up going to a lot of different places with a ranger buddy of mine. Sometimes he'd aggro kite and snare while I was basically a rogue pet (HGs in Rathe); also did some dungeon crawling in LGuk and even a bit of SolB.

Just do what you can to get through it. After that it's the typical CoM -> KC -> Seb.
