Hold on to your equipment, and sell with caution.
The price on everything is about to change dramatically. The current prices on items are severely misrepresented due to months of exploited platinum entering the system.
I'd advice folks to hold on to your gear in the event that all this exploited plat is tracked down and deleted. Item prices will change dramatically. | ||

im no expert but...
wouldn't an influx of platinum into the market cause pricing to go up on items? higher demand for items because the increase in currency to spend on said items. prices rise with inflation. so, wouldn't the correct action be to sell all your shit while the price is high, bank the plat, then wait for the excess plat to be deleted from the economy which would intern give your banked plat a higher value? idk maybe i just dum #loveliteumyboyblue | ||

this is actually a very serious thing, do not sell your items, we don't know how much exploited plat has been entered into the economy.
Honestly it doesn't upset me that people are taking advantage of this, what upsets me is that the leaders of empire instead of alerting the server staff and telling there members not to exploit, they instead hid the fact that this existed to use. If a GM goes and looks for who has 400k sitting in a bank i bet they nail this guy. | ||

None of this 2k an hour plat will have any effect on the economy. As was mentioned before even if it did it would mean prices would go up since more money would be in circulation.
The reason prices are going down on most items is because Velious is coming out soon making most Kunark gear obsolete. | ||

When its been going on for 2 weeks, just imagine the numbers.. And no, basic economy=increase of plat like this makes prices skydive.
