Default just watched Inception for the first time (spoilers from 2010)

wasn't that hard to understand

what was all of the fuss about? for the last 5 years everyone has been telling me how crazy hard this movie is to understand and that id have to watch it 2, even 3 times before i understood.

my thought is that we were given enough evidence to establish he was still dreaming at the end but was able to be satisfied with it because he was with his kids. my guess is the whole movie took place in Cobb's limbo because they never established you can successfully kill yourself and wake up from that, plus Saito was aging in the limbo presented at the end. my guess is Cobb didn't age because it was actually his limbo and his alone which encompassed the whole movie

but b4 flames of my interpretation, it really is intentionally ambiguous because its a Nolan flic. i guess my point is i really didnt find the progression of the movie through dream levels situation that hard to follow.

good movie, but def dont feel the need to watch it twice

One of my favorite movies. The problem people run into is with the pacing of the movie, you have to remember which dream level he is on, and how time is effected based on the equilibrium effect waking you up.

the only thing that throws me for a loop is the part where cobb and mal are old and holding hands

but i would reconcile that by saying they didnt start their dream until they were already old which just wasnt shown

or maybe he's dead of old age/they killed themselves together and now in limbo, so all of this technology was bs to begin with, but i doubt that

I didn't find it confusing but everyone else I knew who watched it watched it while they were high. Maybe you weren't high enough.
