Default Pottery Leveling

So I've been at it in Thurgadin for about 2 hours doing Small Bowl Combines, according to my logs I've done 729 combines as of 08:41 8/3/2015 and my skill has only increased to 60.

I feel as if the skillup rate for pottery is incorrect. At least to my memory, pottery was one of those tradeskills that leveled up VERY fast compared to other tradeskills and I feel that the current skillup rate is not classic.

If you happen to make a bowl, just destroy it and continue. A fast way to do this is to have two empty 10 slot bags that you fill with clay and two open top inventory slots that contain a stack of water and a stack of bowl sketches. Position the open bag of clay and the pottery wheel container so that you can drop in a clay, control-click the stack of water and sketches (this selects one from the stack) and pop combine. The skill goes up very fast, I think my record was eight increases in a row.

Here is the info on how to make the self teleport potion to thurgadin! In total took me 1 hour to get skill up in pottery to 125 and 2 hours to get ingredients in CC for about 6 of them. There are 3 things you need to do: 1 get your skill up in pottery, 2 get the ingredients from CC and 3 get the container to combine them in from Frundle Frenkler in town.

I thought I would help those wondering as to why to do pottery. First off, it levels up super fast; below skill of 100 I never went more than three tries without a lvl.
