Default Pally/SK duo

I don't get to play often and my paladin is my highest level character. My friend is going to playing and only plays a SK.

Now that Velious is out and the exp penalty is set to be removed, can we be a viable duo, and will groups be willing to take the both of us?

Only problem I see is negative damage.

Not likely groups are going to want two hybrid tanks because their damage output is so pitiful and you'd be overlapping roles.

This will be a classic example of having to make your own groups. This is also an example of a group makeup that will not likely cause you headaches until 50+. However, when you consider a viable duo at higher levels, it usually includes some measure of heals or slows - something to keep in mind.
