Default Just wanted to say...

I've been playing on Project 1999 for a couple months now. Mostly just casually on a couple of different characters. And I lurk in the forums when I'm bored. This too is part of the classic experience, all the discussion and nerd-raging and the like.

After recent XP bonuses, some mechanic changes & an apparently liberal GM event (bunch of LR gear handed out, or so I hear, I was out of town and unable to attend,) I've come to one conclusion: This server has entirely too many whining ingrates.

I just wish I'd stop seeing threads bombarded by people whining about their class being nerfed, or another class being overpowered, or how they got robbed of some broken quest or item, or how they someone else took advantage of something or was given a bonus without working for it.

Just wanted to offer up my thanks to Nilbog, Rogean and the other developers & administrators who make this awesome server work and improve. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is is exactly the same as classic? Nope. Does it make me nostalgic & ultimately feel the same, both the good & the bad? Absolutely!

Keep up the great work guys. I hope you continue to strive to strike a balance between being as close to classic as you can, the good and the bad, while successfully eliminating bugs & serious issues. And I hope you continue to improve upon the code and get everything to work as we remembered. Keep keepin' it fun!

I agree, this administration rocks. The people mostly rock when ingame. I wish more people would rock while in forums.

Call me what you will, but I felt the need to express a point of view on the forums besides that of the malcontent whiner. The silent majority of members on this community are happy with things. I just figured I could share that and see what people had to say in agreement or disagreement.

Besides, were I a member of the development team, I'd appreciate the positive feedback. Though, I'm sure they're already well aware and don't, strictly speaking, need the support.
