Currently, this is a must equip to click effect item.

I very clearly remember having this item on my rogue back in the 01' and 02' era using this all the time from inventory.

Changed spell effects on Pauldrons of the Fearsome and Fearsome Shield to right click and worn to activate.

I looked thru the patch message and saw only one change involving the Fearsome shield, something about the effect on it. I'm curious if the fact that it can no longer be worn in the backslot was a typo by one of the programmers or an intended change.
If this was an intended change, how can we get the shield to a class that will actually use the shield after this change with it being nodrop?

Yes, the change was intentional. We most certainly should have announced it, I'm sorry that we didn't. However, as the item is no-drop, announcing the change probably wouldn't have made too much of a difference to those that have the shield.

We are not going to be transferring these no-drop shields. As a shield, it is one of the best (arguably THE best) in the game. Allowing it to be worn as a 40 armor class cloak was an error on our part, and for that we are sorry. But as a back item it was far too powerful.
