Default Crimson Potion

Hey dudes, quick question-- tonight I got locked up in CoM by an enchanter (my MR's shit atm, working on it) and drank a crim pot to break and keep mezzes broken up, but it didn't work. I didn't have regen on or anything like that, so I'm wondering if there are other cases where a crim pot won't break mezz, thanks dudes.

Actually haven't used one in ages. I'd assume they still work.

Did you have the buff on your bar? It's possible you were cured as well.

No, there is definitely a buff stacking but or a bug with the buffs application. I've had several Crimson pots 'fail' lately and my logs show them instantly wearing off. This is against people without shields of the immaculate and I saw no graphical 'cure' spells on me.

I think you got caught up in a bug wherein you spam clicked the pot as mez broke and your client argued with the server as to whether or not the potion went off.

Is there a reason the initial 50 hp heal wouldn't work because of another buff and therefor never land? Like if you have regen or a HP buff?

crimson pots are not reliable.

its the way the server is, ive also had several instances where my wizard epic would not absorb any damage, it would just disippate after casting it fresh even with 1 dmg.

May have something to do with server communication with Client. If you clicked it and the server read that Rapture or Mez landed before the potion did it may not allow it to take since you cannot cast spells after mezd normally. So say they casted it server reads from their client it has been cast but maybe there is a slight lag or hiccup from your end and it doesn't read the potion until after it read mez has landed.

I was told a while back when I first started playing on Red that that could be why some spells were showing as landing after I had seen myself zone or I would zone and be at my bind even though it showed me zoning. Because of the fact that instead of your client being the only thing interacting with the server there is also the client for the other player. There is a lot of data interaction to be taken into account.
