Default 90% rez

So how many people have died in a group before? How many of you have REFUSE to do anything until you've received a 90% rez?

I have been grouping in SolB for the passed few days and on more than one occasion I have had groupmates die on the accidental multi mob pull or accidental mez break, it happens. what surprises me is that people will sit at their bind and Demand a 90% rez....

First of all, it should take like 2 minutes max to run back to the exp zone your doing if you bind yourself properly.

Secondly I have seen people regain more exp than they lost in about 5-10 mobs when they simply run back and start helping the group instead of sitting there bitching about a rez.

I guess this post is more of a get off your ass and run back to your group than sit there and bitch thread.

FFS your a tank you shouldn't require a 90% rez for a death that literally cost you <10 mobs to get your lost exp back.

suck it up

Typically in this situation the best thing to do is see if Garnor is online. He is the friendliest cleric, and spends 99% of his time running around helping fallen comrades. If he is unavailable I'm sorry, but usually that won't be the case.

Garnor, thanks so much for making life so much easier for us here in Norrath!
3 cheers for Garnor!

I think you may have accidentally posted this in server chat instead of rants and flames.

When I played live, if there wasn't a cleric in my group, I didn't get rezzed. I must have been in my 50s before I started seeking out rezzes.

I think on live I only had a rez (of any flavour) a handful of times at most, and they were only because there was a cleric in the group. Now, I might hang a round for a bit if I had delevelled from a spell earning level just so I could use the latest and greatest - it was always annoying that I was fighting near wherever my latest "Ring of" spell was, delevelled and then couldn't get straight back there.

Just something to add...

If you rez seeking people send tells to clerics to get them out to your zone to rez you, you'd better cough up at least 100pp! It's not like porting where it's a quick thing, running to certain zones can be be bad, but receiving 30 gold for a tip is even worse!

lol it was meant to be less of a rant but I guess everything sounds like a rant when your drunk [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

it just surprises me that people get so worked up over a little death, I remember groups punting non essential classes for not running back immediately if there was no res to be bad.

Out of all the chars I've played and leveled I don't think I've actually Needed a rez even high level or hell level its just get back and keep going. P99ers are pampered imo

If I had a group member who refused to return without a 90% rez & it wasn't available at the time, i'd just kick them from the group & look for another. The LFG list for 40-50 is always large. I know, i'm always in it. :P

Plus, I don't know if it's just me but the exp penalty doesn't seem that bad here. I lose 2 blues on a death.. which is nothing really. I remember it being much more severe on sony servers.

Rhambuk I love you buddy but I hate when you post on these forums. I always end up zoning out and staring at your avatar for 20 minutes. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
