Do yourself a favor. Go read the CSR logs leaked on the P99 circlejerk subreddit. Discord will be a 1-2 month server IF it even comes out. Which is highly unlikely at this point.

I'm confused about why this is seen as some grand revelation and insight into the minds of the staff.

Discord on live only lasted a month or two as it was a promotional server for the release of Gates of Discord. Why is it shocking that they're running it the same way?

I did laugh about how one of the guides proposed that Empire was going to ruin Discord by teaming up and out-zerging everyone on the server like Red99, and Rogean chimed in with how they'd just end up getting permadeathed by NPCs. Good read!
