Enter the rogue...What's up peoples?
Just discovered this amazing server and community. EQ was pretty much all I did for the few first years (I left during Luclin then made a few returns along the way). To this day I have never loved a game more.
We all know the true glory days of EQ were up through Velious, which is why I've started playing here. I love hard mode. I love risk and penalty. I love actually earning what you get, and not being able to do pretty much anything by yourself. That's community. That's the whole point of an mmorpg. Anyway, my best days were spent playing my Dwarf Rogue, so I've re-created him here. Name is Riplin, currently level 8. The interactions I've had with people so far have been amazing, and very refreshing after playing games like WoW. Online player maturity took a significant nosedive after EQ. I miss it. Happy to group wherever/whenever and I'll be looking for a guild that's hopefully active and friendly (I'm sure there's dozens). I won't be seeking handouts as I like to earn things for myself, though I've already had a couple people toss me a few plat or a useful starter item and it has been greatly appreciated. Of course I'm always willing to help people in any way I can, which is fairly limited for now but someday all denizens in my path will quake with fear, anger, envy, worship.
