Game Mechanics: Whirlwind not riposting all attacks.

I'll try to get you a log of this soon, but I've found this to happen a few times now.

Whirlwind is supposed to riposte 100% of frontal attacks rendering you un-hittable for 12 seconds. The other night in PoS, I decided to fuck around with Key Master. I popped Whirlwind discipline and turned on attack for some fun. Not more than one second later I was dead via two melee hits of 1k+. I was 100% facing front and riposted quite a number of his attacks before the two hits landed. Apparently he hits *insanely* fast, because within that 1-2 seconds before I died, I riposted over 25+ attacks of his before he was able to smack me down through the discipline.

Not working as intended?

Agreed Phisting. On Live we used this method with multiple monks/warriors for VS. Furious works much the same, only ripostes some. I don't know if it has to do with server sync/lag but there it is. And yes, KeyMaster swings with nodelay if you have whirlwind or you have alot and I mean alot of hit points.

I'm not sure, i have my hits as "number only" but it's possible. Something happened.

I riposted ~ 30 attacks before he hit me for 1.5k twice in a 3 second span. Definitely was in front and didn't move.

No, I believe it is the same with other riposte disciplines on other classes in that it doesn't work like it should.. Furious from warriors comes to mind also as their discipline is behaving in the same fashion and not riposting all incoming attacks iirc from our sky raid.

This was an interesting catch, and would only happen on two NPCs in the game. Fixed, pending update. No idea what shaere's talking about when he says this happens with other classes, unless it's on this NPC.
