Possibility of KC group at 49

So from what I've seen, KC seems to be lvl 50 minimum. What are the chances of a 49 bard finding a group in there on a regular basis? Should I just stick it out at CoM til 50? I am just so sick of that place...

From what I remember on live, the hole was mostly empty. Is it not on 99?

the hole offers low hp mobs with relatively good ZEM and a high mob count. with a decent group you can begin racking up quick and easy efficient xp

On live, on my server, KC was 45+. For whatever reason people on p99 wait until 50 to go there. As a bard, you have the option of joining groups earlier because you can be a mana battery. Conversely, as a bard, you have to deal with a stigma that all bards are evil zone disrupters.
The Hole is often empty, but you could find/bring a group there or go to Sol B or Lower Guk also.

I wouldn't bother going until you are level 50 tbh. The difference between a bard with Melody of Ervaj and one with out is HUGE.

Could find a rogue of similar lvl and aggro kite the ravishing rick drolvargs outside KC or any blue con for that matter. I just like saying ravishing rick drolvarg.

Umm ... no. It's actually a pretty crappy song and it requires you have a brass instrument physically equipped.

Sub 55, the biggest contribution a bard brings to most groups is hymn of restoration with lute, nivs melody of preservation with lute, mana pulse, and (depending on whether you're the only person who can haste or not) a choice of one of your melee songs or hastes. Keep mez, snare/slow, and other utility songs mem'd.

At 49 with a good lute you can twist high 30s to low 40s per tick hp regen (hymn + nivs) on top of covering basic haste and giving a nice pulse of mana for your casters. At 55 it gets nuts as the 55 cantana hp regen component is modified by strings, and still STACKS with nivs.

5% stackable haste is frankly a song not worth using. There are so many better things you could be doing with your time.
