Default To Trump, and his supporters.

This primary season has seen the Best of Trump and the Worst of Trump that is definitely true, but we cannot allow Trump's fight and sacrifice to be all for naught. Much was accomplished, much was lost. "The Legend of Trump" will always be remembered as the backbone and the infantry in defeating the GOP Establishment, but we cannot allow this to be in vain. It's now time to realize Trump was are Seal Team 6. Trump was the man to take on the establishment and he won the battles. In winning those battles Trump sacrificed himself and it is now time to honor Trump and hand the Final battle over to Cruz. Don't let the "Legend of Trump" fall into the waste bin of history. Let's make it last forever.
I'm laying out the facts. Trump can't win a General Election with a 73% unforvorability rating among women. That was before his abortion comment. 7 battle ground states have a female registered voter population over 50%. When you compilate Trumps "war on women" the Megyn Kelly attacks, the Carly Fiorina attack, Heidi cruz, Michelle Fields, and punishing women who have abortions then retracting it,
He's Done.
All his crossover democrat voters, that already cast votes in republican open primaries for him, they just went back to Hillary or Sanders Abortion is a Wedge issue and voters abide by the side they're on. Loyal Trump supporters need to Honor Trumps fight and realize that it was a GREAT run, Trump did more then any outsider ever could have done. Know this, as a former Trump supporter myself I'm proud to have been apart of this historic defeat of the establishment all because of Trump, he is why the Media and Political Elites don't have their pick this cycle, no Bush, no Christie, no Huckawhat, no Graham, and yes No Kasich. I applaud you Donald J Trump you are the Hero in the battle against the establishment, you sacrificed and proved to everyone the Political machines can be beat. But now is the time to complete the mission of restoring the Constitution and the natural rights of man. We Salute "The Don" as he passes the Torch to Ted Cruz who will finish what Donald started.

Polls are wrong, nothing new, just like the poll projections of Donald being nowhere near where he actually wound up thus far. Lyin Ted is still Lyin' Ted a hack for the neocons (as the truth comes out) and for the banking industry. His illegal loans. His appointed economic advisor Phil Gramm, aka Dr. Doom! He brought about the financial troubles we are in! caused the bubble that destroyed our economy. We want MORE of this shit? Cruz seems to be bought and sold by the big bankers, ready to get more bailouts and kickbacks as they rape our economy. Not just bought and sold, but he's married to one! ...while he's likely screwing a lot of others [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
You want to be in with Cruz? bend over.

So your willing to let the "Legend of Trump" die in vain, when we're so close to victory. Your sabotaging Trumps efforts and dishonoring his memory. Let it go, let it go...

Who cares about "unlikable"? Honestly I would not really want to have dinner with any of these guys. Personality wise, they all sux, always have (though Reagan could make me really laugh, could go ok).

Issues are the matter at hand, and imo Cruz is not that much different than Clinton. Just like Bush was not much different than Willy, and 0bama was not that much different than Bush, in fact he just picked up where Bush left off, even though he ran on doing the opposite of Bush.

Cruz even has neocons in his corner for crying out loud, while they all sold out to the banks and funneled Trillions to them. It's time to end all this shit, these guys are all bought and paid for, you guys just argue over what flavor of shiiit you like lol

This is Phil Gramm's response to your accusations. I'd appreciate it if you read the complete article before you respond.

My questions:

I have heard this argument before, but Why hasn't Glass-Steegal been reinstated if the repealing of it caused the crisis?

Is Phil Gramm just lying to us? It's not like he's writing this in the National Enquirer his Op-Ed is in the Wall Street Journal. I'm sure there would have been some lefty activist crying liar liar pants on fire by now.

Oh sweet, wallstreet defending wallstreet claiming it was inevitable while neocons laughed all the way to the bank. His "opinion" only proves there is one born every minute.

Quote:
It was the perfect moment for a wily senator to game the system. As Congress and the White House were hurriedly hammering out a $384-billion omnibus spending bill, Gramm slipped in a 262-page measure called the Commodity Futures Modernization Act. Written with the help of financial industry lobbyists and cosponsored by Senator Richard Lugar (R-Ind.), the chairman of the agriculture committee, the measure had been considered dead—even by Gramm. Few lawmakers had either the opportunity or inclination to read the version of the bill Gramm inserted. "Nobody in either chamber had any knowledge of what was going on or what was in it," says a congressional aide familiar with the bill's history.

The guy removed depression-era safeguards, all for the love of his damn slave masters. This guy should be in prison, not protected in some closet neocons happy little group, Lyin' Ted's happy little future fleecing cartel. Ted's surrounding him with scum, and as they say birds of a feather flock together. This is why I've for the most part turned on him, having for a long time stating I'm waiting and watching them. I needed to see what they do and who they surrounded themselves with. Others just enjoy living on hope and excuses, but not me!

Not that Donald is perfect, haven't seen perfect in politics yet, but a damn lot better than the past couple they tried to run for the reps. I haven't voted for a Rep president since G.H Bush, but Donald could be the first one since then, and possibly a ton better than H as I just really didn't trust slick willy at all... or as he became to be known as.

Cruz is going down the same damn street as the rest of them have, yet just spinning hate as he does it so he goes unnoticed with what he's actually building here. Meanwhile his glassy eyed followers morph more into what looks like Sanders followers. Scary times, indeed.

Daywolf,

Trump is over.

Why didn't you answer my question? If repealing Glass Steegal was the problem why isn't it reinstated?

Also you completely ignore the CRA which forced the mortgage lenders to hand out the subprime loans in the 1st place. Which Gramm was vehemently opposed to.

Don't go off into your rant this time. Focus on the question. I am not a Phil Gramm fan, I just want to know if this guy is so horrible how come he is NEVER brought up in any debate I have ever seen or heard about the Housing crisis.

Your quoting MOTHER JONES, you might as well quote ALEX JONES. You must be a progressive, Soros would be proud.
