![]() Now that Trump is the presumptive nominee, I guess this question is worth serious consideration. Do you think Trump would actually build the Wall he refers to on his stump speeches? I'm not even going to get into the weeds with the "make Mexico pay for it" part.

![]() Yes, and Mexico definitely "pays" for it with their debt they already owe us.

![]() Prolly. It'd be nice if the Border Patrol could just be allowed to do their job. Oh and you know who is a big supporter of Donald? The border patrol. Their first endorsement.
It only makes sense, he's spoken out against the NAU and NAFTA, historically. Of course many Reps have as well, got elected, then did nothing. Always gonna do something, something, but nothin gets done. Open boarders falls right into that oppositional position, a matter of sovereignty. At the same time, conservs and libs may see things a bit differently. But the POTUS isn't a dictator. So what he says he will do and what he can do is yet to be seen, at least to some extent. But I think he will do something if not everything, on that matter. And before all the same blah blah gets thrown around here, this is something good to keep in mind. And yeah, F the Rockefellers [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Maybe your question is if He's really on the level. I like guys like Rand Paul and Duncan Hunter, among others. I probably have more trust for guys like that, though never absolute. But from people close to Donald, and those that have interviewed him time and time again, they seem to think he's on the level. As well, he has a work history of doing what he says in the business world, so he does show some competency, with both success and failure as is a part of life.

![]() Trump may do nothing else, but he sort of has to build that wall should he become prez. If it isn't under construction by year 4, it will be hard for people to take him seriously and it would probably make a 2nd term problematic.
lotta assumptions there tho

![]() He will begin some construction of some type of wall...
It won't be finished, and it will be a political piece during the next election cycle. Pro-wall versus anti-wall will make up most of the ideology and control the tone of the politick.
