Find a method for swarming that works best for your play style, jboot kiting, sow kiting, or selos. find out if you want to use aoe snare when you get 54 or chords of cessation for extra damage. snare makes it a joke to swarm. If you get any video lag or have bad ms, don't even try.

That is the good part, you do not need twink gear as a bard. you can swarm with vendor-bought instruments, then eventually move up to mistmoore lute/drum and such. I suggest winging it however you can til 18 then try swarming small, every zone/different mob you swarm, learn their hitboxes, pull 1 mob first time, try to pretend your swarming a bunch even though its 1. learn how close you need to get, how far you need to stay away. find the sweet spot.

certain mobs cannot be mixed due to hitboxes/speed differences. OTis a good example, sarnaks/cactus/cockatrices can all be swarmed into one, but tigers(run a tad tad faster) rhinos run way faster then all the other mobs so you avoid them. Denons has a larger range then chords of dissonance, so at 18 you will be able to hit denons easily. and for learning, chords will be your hardest to land since you have to be a bit closer, personally I use jboots, but can also use selos. and i side step and cut sideways as the mobs are running at me so i just narrowly avoid them, and droppingmy songs on them. Without snare I will drop 3 dots, and then toss a chant of flame/frost to each mob between every appliance or so of dots.

If you want to learn to kite. Make a bard in Qeynos and get to level 2. Then get your level 2 song and practice kiting all the fire beetles in North Qeynos. Do this until you can pull them all and kill them all without being hit once. Then you will be ready.
