It's blue. Thurg is black. SS is grey. Kael is purple.

Yeah looks like Assassin's is ringmail instead of chain texture. Depends on race whether it'll look good or not. That emblem is really cool on your char, but I think the regular dark elf chain is one of the nicest textures in velious.

Speaking of which, Woven Shadow Armor does not have the correct colour on this server.

On P99 Woven Shadow armor is like light blue greenish in colour, why do they not change it?

You need to consider lighting. One's next to a burning ring of fire and the other looks shady. That particular shade on platemail is really reflective. Like, your armor will look pink if you stand near the Seb orb.

Wasn't the Assassin's armor golden to begin with or was it the other way around? Put another way is the gold classic for the era?

The look varies on different races, but it's basically an ugly yellow.

Gnomes have it the worst, they have gears around their, um, well, let's just say it makes them look like they have tinkered their privates a bit too much, and there's gears down there.

Overall, it's a Leather look, so you DE Females, like myself, get to let the breeze in a bit more than I like, but the stats are amazing, so I don't mind, too much.

Be ready to be called a Stabbin' Bannana, though. :c)

Another comment from late April 2001 indicates the color was already changed. What timeline does this server end on/are we on?

When I get the full set on my own character Ill do some modelling for you, or if you have it still in the bank just try it out for yourself and you will see its alot lighter in colour(Blue/green tinted) than the original Woven Shadow armor(almost black)
