Default Popular xp zones

Hey guys.

I see the Leveling Guide put forth on the 1999 wiki, but it gives such a wide variety of options. I was wondering what the popular hunting spots are for the level tiers.

10-15
15-20, etc.

Any particular suggestions for these two? I spent 4-10 just being a slut for buffs in EC tunnel and destroying everything with an even-red con.

I am a monk.

Yeah, if you're already hanging around EC, head to Oasis and South Ro for dervs and orcs and crocs and stuff.

Befallen would also be good with a group.

I have to disagree RE oasis and Ro - since you're a monk, you're presumably going to be grouping, and if you're grouping, you should take advantage of dungeon ZEMs (zone experience modifiers) which make you level faster in dungeons. Dungeons also tend to have better loot than outdoor zones. Hit up Befallen; it's the closest dungeon in your level range. You can also head over to Crushbone or Unrest, though they're farther away.

The fact that you were grouped with some people 4 levels higher than you at level 10 has a lot more to do with your xp sucking than the fact that you were in the Oasis. Grouping with people more than 2 levels higher than you is generally a bad idea until you are over level 30.

Lol no offense, but Befallen is pretty horrible advice. "lets go to befallen!", famous last words

The ONLY benefit about the oasis, and RO zones, is the high levels that constantly pass through. EVERYWHERE else on the damn server is better than those zones. Levels 6-13? Go to blackburrow, and turn in those gnoll teeth for a shit ton of experience. 13+? Go to unrest, the pulling never stops unless there is one player being plvled with the entire zone.

Gnoll fangs can be turned in to Lysbith McNaff in Halas or Captain Tillin (I think?) in Qeynos.
