Default Awesome community

Forumquest grinding aside, the community here is pretty epic. People remind me of when I used to play oldschool games. We used to stick together and try to help as much as we could. For some reason the playerbase on newer games has become the "I fucked your mum lolz" type crowd and everyone is purely focused on themselves. I'm sure the poopsocks can get pretty competitive but sofar I havent had any issues with anyone and everyone is anxious to help.

I like the community more on the forums, at least there's no arguing about who gets FTE on a new thread, right guys?

PS - it wasn't you, you, or you

Jokes aside yeah, the in game community is very good. On both servers.

P99 community is one of the best I have ever been a part of. It brings people from all walks of life to a single common interest. I wouldn't trade this community for anything.
The leniency the staff show on the forums is very special. They keep the peace but allow us to freely mingle.
In game you can find people who want to enjoy the game the same way you do. Not everyone is hardcore or a casual.

Well said Baler, well said! Very astute observation, indeed. I concur with everything Baler says above.

I tend to agree. Although the pre-60 community is pretty great

I think a big factor is that the player base skews older here (aged 30+ and probably a lot in 40s or 50s+). We are much more mature than most games that have a younger player base. This shows itself in game, with a lot of polite and helpful people. It's actually making the second time around with EQ better than the first IMO.
