![]() I have come to the conclusion that the best solo class for P1999 is by far a Necromancer.
I've seen time after time that this class can hold it's own (with help of some potions, thank you Shaman) in almost every situation. As I see the population flux up and down and dwindle some I tend to lean more and more to playing my necro and just get/farm some of the items I am wanting for my alts. Open to any arguement and feedback. Haters go somewhere else.

![]() I don't think there's much to debate, the only variable is what you consider to be "soloing".
Xping solo from levels 1-60, necro is easily the strongest class. Farming solo items for alts, necros do it much easier than most other classes. Farming solo content at level 60 in high level areas, necros are useless compared to a shaman/chanter. even druid, depending on the zone. It just depends what you like doing in eq i guess.

The limitations to what an enchanter can solo are off the charts though, only limited by the gameplay of the player I'd say. No matter how awesome you are on a necromancer, there simply are going to be vast limitations as to what you can solo compared to the enchanter. Shaman are extremely powerful for soloing also, and I personally would rather have a 60 shaman or 60 enchanter if my goal was to solo top shelf mobs and zones.
