Using different accounts on same connection at different times

While I wait for an exemption I've been reading other threads on the topic and came across one that mentioned that you are allowed to play two accounts on the same IP address if you do not play at the same time. This thread: http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...emption&page=3

Can anyone confirm if this is true or not?

Someone tried playing their account here before and got a temporary ban, but I'm thinking maybe they just went linkdead and tried logging back on too quickly or something. Thanks for any responses.

The rule is basically to prevent two-boxing. You can play as many different accounts as you like, just not at the same time.

Like you said, the person probably tried to log back on to soon - it can take a couple minutes for your IP to clear from the server.

he's got it right. you can definitely have as many accounts as you want on the same IP, you cannot however have them logged in at the same time. my brother and his room mate are still waiting for their exemption so they just play at different times for now [You must be logged in to view images.
