Saturday Morning Cartoons

One of the things i looked forward too as a kid every week. As an adult, i still have respect and enjoy watching cartoons on saturday morning for nostalgic purposes as well as Dragon Ball Z and Sonic on the station we have here; CW Toonzai.

The point of this thread was to ask a question really. My brother
would try to wake me up as a child buy switching on Sat morning toons.
While i enjoyed every show that aired, alot of the times i would find the
suttle sounds of the music and sound effects very relaxing and would
promply ... fall back asleep, sometimes missing sat morning toons.

Was it like this for anyone else?
