Game Mechanics: Wizard Gate when low life

I managed to cast the spell "Fay Gate" while i was being beat up and running very low on life (i was 10% hp when the spell landed).

I appeared in Greater Faydark, a little bit north of the wizard spires (is it the safe spot?). I was full mana, full health and I had lost exp. Btw Greater Faydark was not my bind point, I was bound in Dagnor.

"Fay Gate" is your self only port to Greater Faydark. Your port to bind is simply "Gate" you will find as you level up that you will aquire more "gate" spells that take you to other zones, EG. "Ro Gate" to take you to North Ro.

If he appears in a zone other than his bind point - but having lost exp, something would look to have not gone well.

Now let me explain again.

Bind point : Dagnor
Spell casted : Fay Gate
Cicumstances : Two mobs beating me up. I'm 10% health when spell lands.

Resulting in me being :
- in Greater Faydark = So far so good.
- not at wiz spires, but a little bit north = Something wrong.
- Without my equipement = Something wrong.
- Full Mana / Full Health = Something wrong.
- XP loss = Something wrong.

Btw, i don't care about the XP loss. I'm 50. Ah, and I know what a self only port spell is [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

LOL Total reading fail, thats what i get for trolling forums at 4am. Sounds like something that would have been covered by a petition. Where did your corpse w/ gear wind up?

Right, I forgot to give that information. My corpse was where I was when I casted the spell : in Kedge Keep.

This has happened to me a couple times as well. It seems to happen when you zone and die at practically the same time. The server isn't sure what to do so weird stuff like that happens. Happens with dots occasionally as well and you can just be running to zone, doesn't have to be gate.
