Freeze when i tried to connect to the server

Hello,

First, excuse my english :-)

I followed this tuto http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=PlayGuide (I bought the underfoot version).

The game launch correctly but when i try to connect to [A 0.8.0] Project 1999: The Ruins of Kunark server, the game freeze... I have a black screen and process eqgame.exe don't answer.


Can someone help me?

Underfoot is not Titanium (Depths of Darkhollow is), so you are SOL (shit out of luck). Find a copy of titanium somewhere. You wont be able to play with anything other than Titanium on p99, you may be able to play with SoF, but its buggy, and most dont recommend it.

Once you do, look in my signature for an all in one installer. Pick option (0), point it to where EQ is installed, and you are good to go. It will do everything for you.

I don't understand. This post (http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2651) say:
First, Follow steps 1-5 in the guide for setting up EQEmulator at the Play Guide on EQEmulator(http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=PlayGuide). Once you have completed Step 5 there are additional modifications you must make to play on Project 1999 without any problems.

And the Play Guide on EQEmulator say :
Please note: As of this time you MUST have one of the follow versions of Everquest

Everquest: Titanium Edition (Retail from the CDs)
Everquest: Secrets of Faydwer (Retail from the CDs/DVDs)
Everquest: Seeds of Destruction (No longer available by legal means)
Everquest: Underfoot (Download-Only from Steam - DOWNLOAD HERE∞)


I bought the Everquest: Underfoot (Download-Only from Steam - DOWNLOAD HERE∞).
This version won't work anymore?

It may work with other EQ servers, but most likely not this one. As Crushev said, Titanium is the one that is supported. Others may work, but if you have problems, it may be because of it not being Titanium. I would see about returning it, if you can and grabbing the Titanium edition from ebay.

Aye, EQemu is used in a TON of servers. And it supports those clients.. this server however is custom coded and only runs on Titanium and Sof (but SOF is buggy). So borrow Titanium from a friend, or get it somewhere.
