Fastest unassisted class to 60

What class do you think gets to 60 the fastest without twinking or grouping?

Necro, mage, druid, bard or enchanter?

What is your leveling strategy and locations for the above class choice?

Definitely halfling Druids are pretty fast
Pet class issues can be tough with a small manapool (non twink) simply because of pet damage output on sub50 mobs being so high. Mage with focus items is coo for chaincast tho.
Enc will die too much non-twink to be “fast”

Bard hands down.

You can go 0-50 in less than a week swarming.

Once you get the snare song at 54 you can aoe velks which will take you to 60 pretty fast. I did 59 casually in a weekend. One blue per pull.

Bard necro enc druid...in that order probably.

I agree with these four ^^ with possibly a switch on enc and druid due to the mad rush of xp druids get from 34-54 compared to enchanters, but enchanters can blast off the rest of 55-60 solo which is a huge chunk of your level time, but druids are great too in the pits.

Bard will win 100% of course.. though mine was at 56 and its a bit of a tough finish.

A bard with like 5 plat of instruments will outlevel any other class with 100k+ of gear to 60. Even including getting white/red dragon teeth since they're useless at higher levels

Does this still hold true with the AOE limitation on mobs? How many mobs is max AOE?

It's 25, but you can still pull like 50 if you want. As the first ones die you just keep kiting till the other half dies too.

I think on my original server (Mith Marr) the first 60 was a necro, who solo'd Tundra Jack and Iceberg to 60. This was before some of the gear and abilities that really put bard at the head of the class for leveling speed, though.
