Default Hide on Green

I'm curious to know if hide will be at pre nerf power on the start of green. Any thoughts?

I have no answers, but I am curious: how did "pre nerf" Hide work differently?

I think they are referring to when hide would break charm, regardless of success.

Which may have been more of a bug than a classic mechanic. I cannot confirm either way.

I'm not sure even Verant could always tell the difference between the two [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah not sure if it was classic or a bug either. But I just know it would break charm instantly and act like IVU in classic. They may be two separate things. I'm asking selfishly asking because i'm trying to decide if I want to roll a DE chanter or Erudite. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Haha well consider this -- the insta break charm would be awesome -- but only for a year until kunark. At which point, the CHA hit of the dark elf would be much more noticeable imo.

Plus, enchanter is one of the best classes to minmax....given that you can be any race. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

well if i was minmaxing i'd go high elf but my whole team is starting qeynos so...also I like the way erudites look. Not that it really matters since i'll have illusions.

Ah i gotcha -- well if you are mainly going to be grouping or duoing as an enchanter anyways, then keeping an invis on the spell bar is definitely not too big a hit. Plus, consider that it will be a good while before you have a good balance of mana/cha before charming is effective in group. You don't want to go OOM on recharming from breaks and then lose out on the ability to CC.
